The Club
WVESSA a regional English Springer Spaniel breed club. Our parent club is
the English Springer Spaniel Field Trial Association, the sole sanctioned
steward of the breed standard and rules for ESS-only performance events
in the United States.
Our club is dedicated to the betterment of the English Springer Spaniel breed. But most of all, our members love their dogs. Our members are involved in many activities, including: rescue, conformation, obedience, agility, rally, hunting, therapy, etc.
We have two types of members; full and associate. Full members have voting privileges, while associate members have all the privileges of full membership except voting. You can join as an individual or as a family (which includes 2 adults and any children under the age of 18).
Meetings are held on a monthly basis. The location of the meetings change monthly. We hold four special (non-business) meetings a year. In June our meeting is an ESS Specialty show, in July we have our picnic at the Oregon Coast, in December we hold our gift-exchange party, and in January we hold our Annual Awards Banquet.
